Mumbai Meri Jaan
Drama134 min
In the aftermath of the 2006 Mumbai train bombings, several strangers are left navigating the city’s shock in very different ways. Thomas, a tea seller, crosses paths with Rupali, a reporter grieving her fiancé; Suresh’s money troubles harden into suspicion of Muslims; and policeman Sunil finds the investigation compromised by corruption above him. Irrfan Khan and R. Madhavan are part of the ensemble at the film’s center, alongside Soha Ali Khan and Kay Kay Menon, as the story moves through packed stations, newsrooms, police offices, and the everyday routines unsettled by the attacks.
