A basement experiment in San Francisco leaves four accidental travelers hopping between parallel Earths, searching for the one that will take them home. Jerry O'Connell is Quinn Mallory, the young physics prodigy whose homemade portal opens the door, while John Rhys-Davies' Professor Maximillian Arturo joins Quinn, Wade Welles, and singer Rembrandt "Crying Man" Brown on the trip that goes wrong. Each slide drops them into a different version of history, where familiar places have changed and the rules of each world can shift without warning. The group has to keep moving, adapt fast, and hope the next jump points back to their own reality.
