Inside a doll factory, a lonely inventor perfects a machine that shrinks living people down to the size of toys. What begins as a secret experiment turns into a method of control: anyone who threatens to leave him, expose him, or stand in his way can be miniaturized and kept under glass. As more victims vanish, the tiny captives struggle to survive in a world where ordinary objects become deadly obstacles and a human hand can snatch them up at any moment. John Hoyt is at the center of the obsession, while John Agar enters the widening mystery as the disappearances begin to draw attention.
