The Lovers
Comedy26 min per episode
In Belfast, Janet lives alone, works a supermarket shift she barely tolerates, and keeps most people at a distance. Seamus appears to have the opposite life: he is a polished political broadcaster with a public profile, a long-term partner, and every reason to stay inside his carefully managed world. When the two strike up an unlikely connection, their conversations turn into a secret relationship that cuts across class, reputation, and how each of them sees themselves. As the affair deepens, Janet’s blunt refusal to play by social rules collides with Seamus’s need to keep control, and both are pushed toward choices neither can contain.
