The Reckoning
CrimeDrama58 min per episode
Steve Coogan is Jimmy Savile, tracing the British TV personality from his working-class beginnings in the early 1960s to his rise as one of the UK’s most familiar celebrities. As Savile builds a public image through BBC fame and charity work, the drama keeps in view the abuse concealed behind that status and the revelations that emerge after his death in 2011. Moving through decades of television, public adoration, and private misconduct, the series follows how influence, access, and institutional silence helped protect a man who remained in plain sight.
