Crossfire

CrimeDramaMysteryThriller86 min

When a man turns up dead after a night out with a group of soldiers just discharged from the Army, police captain Finlay is left to sort through alibis, half-truths, and frayed postwar nerves. Robert Young is Finlay, methodically retracing the victim’s last hours, while Robert Mitchum’s Sergeant Keeley tries to shield a missing friend from suspicion. As the investigation narrows around the men who were together that night, the killing points to something beyond a drunken brawl, with antisemitism at the center of the crime.
