In the Nazi puppet state of Croatia during World War II, a young peasant poet named Ljiljan joins the Partisans just as the movement begins to collapse. His assignment is stranger than frontline combat: write a song that can get his band of resisters into an SS talent show, where the winners will perform before Hitler and the regime’s leadership. Kristijan Jaic and Stjepan Perić are part of the ensemble in a story that turns underground resistance into warped farce, mixing parody and satire with the chaos of wartime Yugoslavia. The setup is built around music, propaganda, and a mission so improbable it only makes the surrounding horror look sharper.
