Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist
DramaHorrorThriller117 min
Father Lankester Merrin has stepped away from the Church, turning to archaeology as he tries to live with a faith shattered by war. In post-World War II Africa, Stellan Skarsgård's Merrin joins the excavation of an ancient church, where the dig uncovers signs of something darker than history. Gabriel Mann and Clara Bellar are among the faces around him as suspicion, guilt, and religious dread build inside the isolated site. The story traces Merrin's first encounter with the Devil, linking his personal collapse to the demonic conflict that later defines The Exorcist.
