Knives Out
ComedyCrimeDramaMysteryThriller131 min
After crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is found dead at his Massachusetts estate just after his 85th birthday, private detective Benoit Blanc is brought in to look past the police's early assumptions. Daniel Craig is Blanc, working his way through a family of heirs, in-laws, and hangers-on whose stories rarely line up, while Ana de Armas's Marta, Harlan's nurse, becomes a key figure in the case. Rian Johnson builds the mystery around a grand house, a bitter inheritance fight, and an investigation crowded with evasions, grudges, and competing versions of the same night.
