Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai
CrimeDrama116 min
Forest Whitaker is Ghost Dog, a solitary contract killer who lives in a rooftop shack with his pigeons and orders his life by the Hagakure, treating each assignment as part of an old samurai code. When a job leaves him exposed and the mafia that employs him turns on him, his strict loyalty is tested against the loose, shabby rules of the city around him. Jim Jarmusch folds hip-hop, streetwise humor, and ritual into the story, while Cliff Gorman and Henry Silva appear among the mob figures closing in on Ghost Dog.
