In Hong Kong, Nick Cheung is Fatt, a street-smart exorcist who handles vengeful ghosts in an unusual way: he negotiates with them, trying to talk them out of their grudges. When recordings of his rituals go viral, Fatt draws the attention of a reporter (Amber Kuo) who starts digging into his methods and his close connection to a female spirit. At the same time, a murderous ghost begins targeting mediums, turning Fatt’s newfound notoriety into a much more dangerous problem.
