Little Nothings
Comedy95 min
At the struggling Paris department store Les Grandes Galeries, newly appointed CEO Lepetit sets out to revive business by putting the human factor at the center of everything. Fabrice Luchini is Lepetit, an ambitious manager whose upbeat reforms extend from the sales floor to his own behavior, only to unsettle the workers he hopes to rally. As small frictions spread through the store, the film moves between clerks, executives, and stockroom staff, with Jean-Pierre Darroussin and Karin Viard among the ensemble. Office politics, retail routine, and management-speak shape the comedy as the rescue plan starts to strain the people meant to carry it out.
