The Bay
HorrorSci-FiThriller85 min
Three years after a July 4 disaster in Claridge, Maryland was buried by local authorities, a reporter releases the footage they tried to suppress: home videos, webcam clips, emergency calls, and interviews capturing a parasitic outbreak as it tears through the Chesapeake Bay town. Kether Donohue and Nansi Aluka are among the residents and witnesses in the patchwork of accounts, while fish wash ashore, birds drop from the sky, and holiday crowds begin to realize something is badly wrong in the water. Barry Levinson tells the story through screens, recordings, and recovered files assembled after the fact.
