A shy teen searches for his estranged mother and winds up in Piney country, where a violent backwoods clan turns that search into a deadly encounter. Adam Scarimbolo and Emily Grace are among the cast moving through a world of woods, drugs, and sudden brutality as Jim gets closer to the family he’s been looking for. The story begins with a missing-person setup, then narrows into rural horror built around the Pineys, hillbillies whose idea of a welcome quickly turns savage.
