Curse of the Forty-Niner

Horror86 min

A group of friends think they’ve struck it rich when they find gold deep inside an old mine, but taking it awakens a long-dead miner bent on protecting his buried treasure. Karen Black and Vernon Wells are among the faces pulled into the fallout as the find turns deadly underground. The setup mixes cursed gold and slasher mechanics, with most of the action circling the mine’s dark tunnels, the friends’ bad decision, and the vengeful figure they’ve disturbed.
