Blue Summer
ActionAdventureComedyDramaRomance113 min
Tokyo high school student Rio is sent to spend the summer in the countryside, where a change of scenery turns into first love when she meets fellow student Ginzo. Shiori Akita leads alongside Hayato Sano as the story moves from the city to a quieter rural setting, following Rio through the first stirrings of romance and the shifting rhythms of youth. As the season unfolds, her growing bond with Ginzo sits alongside the friendships, uncertainty, and small moments that make a summer away from home feel larger than life.
