Years after a brutal attack leaves Kirby Mazrachi living in a reality that keeps changing around her, she discovers a recent murder may be tied to what happened to her. Elisabeth Moss is Kirby, trying to make sense of a present that won’t stay fixed, and she turns to veteran reporter Dan Velazquez, played by Wagner Moura, to help track the connection. Their investigation moves through newsroom leads, damaged memory, and the fallout of trauma as Kirby tries to confront the past without losing her grip on the world in front of her.
