Ol' Dirty Bastard: A Tale of Two Dirtys
Documentary86 min
Russell Tyrone Jones became Ol' Dirty Bastard, the unruly force at the edge of Wu-Tang Clan's rise, and this documentary follows the divide between the man and the persona that came to define him. Built around never-before-seen footage shot by his wife, alongside interviews with relatives, friends, and collaborators, it traces ODB as artist, father, and husband while charting his sudden fame in 1990s hip-hop. Raekwon and Ghostface Killah are among the voices filling in the Wu-Tang years, his solo breakthrough, and the alter ego Jones created — one that increasingly took over the public story.
