Olivier is a 39-year-old foreman whose life is upended when his wife, Laura, leaves the family home and leaves him alone with their two children. Romain Duris is Olivier, suddenly trying to keep a household together while holding onto a job he already gives everything to. As the shock of Laura’s departure settles in, the film stays close to the pressure of childcare, work, and the practical demands of a life that has changed overnight. Lucie Debay appears alongside Duris in this portrait of a man forced to reckon with single fatherhood and the fact that Laura is not coming back.
