Eagle vs Shark
ComedyRomance93 min
Lily, a fast-food cashier on the margins, falls hard for Jarrod after he wanders into her burger joint and pulls her into his odd little orbit. Loren Taylor is Lily, quietly fixated and eager to be seen; Jemaine Clement’s Jarrod is a self-styled gaming champ whose bravado covers an old humiliation he still can’t let go. After crashing his costume party and impressing him on a console, Lily follows him to his New Zealand hometown, where Jarrod is bent on confronting a former school bully and their uneven courtship keeps shifting between sweet, awkward, and uncomfortable.
