Over the course of one night in Bucharest, taxi drivers Lică and Liviu crisscross the city, picking up a steady stream of passengers while wrestling with very different ideas about life. Lică is sure money comes first; Liviu, quieter and more guarded, wants something fuller than the job gives him. Between fares, the two meet over food and drinks, where their friendship and frustrations come into sharper focus. As strangers move through the back seat and leave their mark, the city’s everyday encounters start pushing both men to reconsider what they want from work, from other people, and from themselves.
