Housekeeping for Beginners
ComedyDrama107 min
Dita never planned on motherhood, but she finds herself raising her girlfriend’s two daughters and trying to keep their household from coming apart. Anamaria Marinca is Dita, suddenly responsible for Mia, a tiny troublemaker, and Vanesa, a teenager who pushes back at every turn. Mia Mustafi’s Mia and Dzada Selim’s Vanesa pull Dita in different directions as school, money, relatives, and everyday friction turn the apartment into a constant negotiation. What takes shape is an improvised family, built less on certainty than on the effort to stay together.
