Hidden behind the walls of an old house, the four-inch-tall Clock family survive by “borrowing” thread, batteries, and scraps from the human Lenders upstairs. Their secret life is thrown into danger when a missing will gives John Goodman’s lawyer, Ocious P. Potter, a chance to tear the place down for new apartments. As the Lenders are forced out, the Clocks face exposure in a world built at the wrong scale. Jim Broadbent and Celia Imrie are among the tiny household, with oversized sets turning floorboards, kitchens, and found objects into the family’s entire landscape.
