A wizard’s mistake hurls a 12th-century knight and his servant out of medieval France and into 1993, where every car, telephone, and bathroom becomes a fresh disaster. Jean Reno and Christian Clavier are the mismatched pair at the center of the chaos, blundering through modern life while trying to find a way back to 1123. As Godefroy de Papincourt searches for answers, he crosses paths with Béatrice de Montmirail, a descendant of his noble line who may be his best chance of undoing the spell before the damage spreads any further.
