Love the Coopers
ComedyDramaFamilyFantasyRomance107 min
Four generations of the Cooper clan are headed for the same Christmas Eve celebration, but unexpected visitors and a run of unlikely mishaps throw the family’s annual tradition off balance. Diane Keaton and John Goodman are part of the crowded ensemble, with Ed Helms, Amanda Seyfried, Olivia Wilde, Alan Arkin, and Marisa Tomei moving through the night’s intersecting stories. Steve Martin’s narration ties together the relatives, children, and last-minute arrivals as one holiday gathering turns into a string of awkward meetings, detours, and attempts to reconnect before the evening is over.
