Jeff, Who Lives at Home

ComedyDrama83 min

Sent out by his mother to buy wood glue, Jeff leaves the basement room where he spends most of his days and starts treating a wrong-number phone call as a sign that destiny is finally calling. Jason Segel is Jeff, a slacker whose small errand turns into a long day beside his brother. Ed Helms' suspicious husband is in the middle of tracking a possibly adulterous wife, pulling Jeff into a mix of family friction, street-level misadventure, and conversations about whether chance means anything at all. Susan Sarandon appears as the mother waiting on a simple favor that keeps getting further away.
