Skyfall
ActionAdventureThriller143 min
After a mission in Istanbul goes badly wrong, James Bond returns to a compromised MI6, where exposed agents, a bombing, and political scrutiny have turned the service inward. Daniel Craig is Bond, tracking a hidden enemy whose campaign points back to M; Judi Dench’s steely chief faces questions from Ralph Fiennes’ Mallory as the pressure mounts in London. Aided by field agent Eve and the young quartermaster Q, Bond follows the trail to Silva, a cold, theatrical adversary brought in by Javier Bardem. Sam Mendes keeps the action moving from grand city set pieces to the bruised inner workings of British intelligence.
