After a Kremlin bombing leaves the IMF blamed for terrorism, Ethan Hunt is cut loose under Ghost Protocol and forced off the grid as a nuclear threat begins to build. Tom Cruise’s Hunt has no government support, limited tools, and a small team of fellow operatives, including members played by Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner, to track Hendricks, the extremist who has obtained Russian launch codes.
