In early-1980s Birmingham and Coventry, a group of young people come of age as their friendships, families, and ambitions are pulled by the tensions running through both cities. Music offers a way forward and a way out, drawing them together just as violence, divided loyalties, and pressure at home threaten to split them apart. As they try to build something of their own, old feuds and unrest in the streets keep closing in on private lives. With Levi Brown and Jordan Bolger among the ensemble, the series follows how a shared scene and a changing city shape who these characters become.
