Diary of the Dead
FantasyHorrorSci-FiThriller96 min
While shooting a low-budget horror movie, a group of film students find themselves recording something far worse when the dead begin to rise for real. George A. Romero shifts his zombie mythology into found-footage mode, staying close to the cameras as the crew tries to keep filming while panic spreads around them. Michelle Morgan and Joshua Close are among the young cast at the center of the scramble, with the line between staged scares and survival disappearing fast. What starts as a student production becomes a shaky, on-the-run record of a world coming apart.
