After inheriting a Southern California horse ranch and a toy factory tucked into the barn, Jack Green agrees with his wife Cherie to take in three boys from his aunt’s orphanage until Christmas. Dean Cain and Jean Louisa Kelly are the couple at the center, trying to manage Mike and his friends Henry and Ray as renovations drag on and the boys test every rule in the house. Between holiday preparations, ranch life, and the search for a permanent family, Jack starts to look at the arrangement as something more than a temporary favor.
