The Golden Voyage of Sinbad

When Sinbad intercepts a homunculus carrying part of a golden tablet, the legendary sailor finds himself pursued by Koura, a sorcerer determined to reclaim it. John Phillip Law is Sinbad, steering his crew into an ocean-crossing quest after a Grand Vizier reveals a second piece of the interlocking map; Tom Baker’s Koura shadows the voyage with spells, traps, and monsters. Drawing on Arabian Nights lore, the film sends Sinbad toward a mysterious island where living statues, a centaur, and a griffin stand between the map’s riddle and whatever waits at its end.
