Rumble Fish

CrimeDramaRomance94 min

Rusty James is a Tulsa teenager trying to live up to the local legend of his older brother, the Motorcycle Boy, while longing for the gang wars that once defined his neighborhood. Matt Dillon is all swagger and confusion as Rusty James, and Mickey Rourke’s Motorcycle Boy drifts back into town with a reputation that seems to outgrow the streets around him. Francis Ford Coppola shoots the story in black-and-white, turning its teenage gang world and fractured brotherhood into something dreamlike and unstable.
