Changing Ends
Comedy22 min per episode
In 1980s Northampton, a football manager’s son is growing up in a house where the game sets the rhythm, but Alan is heading in a very different direction. As his dad’s job puts the family close to the local club and all the expectations that come with it, Alan has to navigate school, family life, and the awkward business of figuring out who he is. The comedy comes from the gap between the world around him and the person he’s becoming, with every small embarrassment and misunderstanding feeling huge. Semi-autobiographical and rooted in Alan Carr’s childhood, the series follows those early years as home, football, and adolescence keep colliding.
