The Delta Force
ActionAdventureDramaThrillerWar129 min
A 707 flying from Athens to Rome and on to New York is hijacked by Lebanese terrorists, who force the crew to divert to Beirut and turn the passengers into bargaining chips. Chuck Norris is Scott McCoy, part of the elite American commando team called in to retake the plane, while Lee Marvin leads the military response from the ground. The film splits its attention between the hostages aboard the jet and the operation forming around them, with the action built around the standoff, the rescue planning, and the assault on the aircraft.
