The Manster

HorrorSci-Fi73 min

An American journalist working in Japan becomes the subject of a grotesque experiment when a scientist gives him a mysterious injection that begins to change his body and behavior. As the serum takes hold, the transformation turns violent, pushing the story from laboratory horror into murder and investigation. Peter Dyneley is at the center of the unraveling, while Jane Hylton appears as the wife watching the man she knows slip away. Shot in Japan and built around its most notorious image—a second head emerging from the first—the film mixes pulp science fiction with a sleek, late-1950s monster-movie setup.
