Andreas and Martin are long past the beginning of their romance, raising a son who is growing up while their relationship carries the marks of many shared years. With Mike Hoffmann and Mathis Reinhardt at the center, the film stays close to the rhythms of everyday life: family responsibilities, small strains, private tenderness, and the accumulated history between two people who have built a home together. Rather than focusing on first meetings or coming-out milestones, Paths looks at what comes after, tracing a long partnership through the ordinary changes that shape it over time.
