CrimeDramaRomance116 min
Kazunari Ninomiya is Shuichi Kushimori, a 17-year-old student living quietly with his mother and stepsister until his estranged stepfather suddenly returns after years away. The man quickly slides into heavy drinking and turns the household into a place of fear, abusing Shuichi’s mother and sister and asserting control over the home. As the danger inside the family grows, Shuichi finds himself pushed toward drastic action. Aya Matsuura co-stars in this Japanese drama, which keeps its focus tight on a teenager cornered by violence at home and the choices that follow.
