A year after covering up a hit-and-run, a group of high schoolers starts getting picked off by a masked killer in a robe, and their attempt to stay alive turns into a barrage of slasher jokes. Anna Faris is among the increasingly rattled teens, with Regina Hall and Shawn Wayans adding to the movie’s broad, crude comic energy. Directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, the story borrows the setup of teen horror — secret guilt, phone threats, jump scares, chases — and twists each beat into a spoof, with the killer as bumbling as the victims.
