In Woodsboro, California, a year after her mother’s murder, high school student Sidney Prescott finds herself at the center of a new wave of attacks. A masked killer starts stalking teenagers, taunting them with phone calls and turning familiar houses, hallways, and parties into crime scenes. As fear spreads through Sidney’s group of friends, suspicion shifts from one face to another, and every new clue seems to raise more questions than it answers. Neve Campbell anchors Sidney’s scramble to stay alive while reporters and police close in, including a relentless local journalist played by Courteney Cox. The killer keeps pressing closer, forcing Sidney to confront both public attention and private grief at once.
