Eleven-year-old Alexander heads to Mexico City with his family for a dream spring break vacation, only to watch every plan unravel after they stumble across a cursed idol. What starts as a getaway turns into a string of mishaps and improvised detours as the family tries to outrun the bad luck trailing them. Eva Longoria and Jesse Garcia are part of the family at the center of the chaos, with Cheech Marin joining the trip’s multigenerational mix. The story keeps its focus on Alexander’s point of view as a simple holiday keeps spiraling into one disaster after another.
