Riding Bean

The story

Courier-for-hire Bean Bandit moves clients and contraband through Chicago in his custom sports car, the Roadbuster, with partner Rally Vincent at his side. A pickup involving a kidnapped girl named Chelsea looks straightforward enough, until Bean and Rally realize they’ve been set up: former clients Semmerling and Carrie intend to disappear with Chelsea’s father and the ransom money, leaving the pair framed for the crime. Hideyuki Tanaka and Naoko Matsui lead the Japanese voice cast in a hard-driving anime built around freeway chases, smashed metal, and the escalating chaos that follows once Bean hits the gas.
