Master thief Lupin is back on the trail of a biblical-era hoard, with two criminal families and Inspector Zenigata’s new female patrol closing in on the same prize. Yasuo Yamada is Lupin, chasing clues and dodging pursuers as the search for Babylonian gold widens into a comic treasure hunt. Zenigata (Goro Naya) stays on his heels, while Lupin’s crew gets swept into the scramble around him. This 1985 Japanese animated feature takes the series’ familiar cat-and-mouse setup and sends it after ancient riches, rival crooks, and a treasure legend with roots far older than Lupin himself.
