Big Deal on Madonna Street
ComedyCrime106 min
Two hapless thieves think they’ve found their way to a fortune when a plan comes together to tunnel from a rented apartment into the pawnshop next door and rob its safe. Best friends Peppe and Mario recruit a loose crew of small-time crooks for the job, but every step of the heist runs into the kind of problem no one in the room is equipped to solve. Vittorio Gassman is one of the would-be masterminds, with Renato Salvatori among the gang trying to turn a shaky idea into a clean score. Digging, disguises, and botched logistics drive the comedy as the scheme keeps slipping out of their hands.
