Eight housemates share a vacation house and spend their summer working, partying, and colliding with each other under one roof. In Seaside Heights, New Jersey, the group’s nights out and beach-town routines turn into arguments, hookups, shifting alliances, and the kind of small slights that become house-wide drama by morning. When the series moves the roommates to South Beach and later Florence, Italy, the same close quarters and constant social pressure follow them, with every outing feeding back into life at home. Snooki and Pauly D are part of a cast whose friendships and feuds keep changing as the house tries to live by its own rules.
