Karnan
ActionAdventureDrama158 min
Karnan is an angry young man from a lower-caste community who rises up when those above him hold all the power and all the weapons. Dhanush is Karnan, a restless force at the center of a story about oppression, humiliation, and resistance. Rajisha Vijayan and Lal circle the conflict close to home as his fight becomes bound up with the fate of his people. Rooted in caste inequality, the film keeps its focus on what that pressure does to a community and the man who refuses to stay silent.
