Promised Land
DramaRomance102 min
On the verge of graduation in small-town Utah, three friends expect the next step to carry them somewhere bigger. Jason Gedrick is Davey Hancock, a hometown basketball star with college ahead of him, while his cheerleader girlfriend Mary starts to feel stronger ties to the life they planned to leave behind. At the edge of their orbit is Senator (Kiefer Sutherland), an awkward classmate drifting without much direction of his own. As summer begins, friendships shift, romances complicate, and the promises of adulthood start to look less certain than they did from the bleachers.
