After leaving her high-pressure London PR life, Agatha Raisin moves to a quiet Cotswold village expecting a clean start and a simpler routine. Instead, a local competition ends in death when a quiche is found to have been poisoned, and Agatha is pulled into the uproar that follows. As an outsider, she is easy for the villagers to dismiss, but that same distance lets her spot tensions, grudges, and small lies that the locals overlook. Ashley Jensen’s Agatha pushes into other people’s business, stirring up more suspicion as she tries to make sense of a village where everyone seems to know everyone else’s secrets.
