A one-eyed hired assassin is pulled into a yakuza power struggle when a clan boss hires him as a yojimbo, counting on his skill to hold off rival factions. As Yataro Tanigawa’s standing rises inside the clan, the job grows more dangerous, with enemies closing in from all sides and loyalty becoming part of the fight. Tatsuya Nakadai leads the film, with Yoshio Harada and Ayumi Ishida among the figures moving through the clan’s shifting alliances, violence, and internal jockeying for rank.
