Each story drops them into a fresh crisis as archvillains target the city with elaborate traps, thefts, and public chaos. Batman answers with straight-faced deductions, moral certainty, and an endless supply of gadgets, while Robin backs him up in the field. Adam West and Burt Ward anchor the hero pair at the center of a show that treats comic-book crimefighting with bright colors, deadpan seriousness, and a playful sense of parody.
